Two German Names Hold The Tightest Coils In This Scan. Their Own Regime Reads Full Risk-Off.

Porsche prints maximum volatility compression at 100%, Conf 8 across three timeframes, and the strongest buy dominance in the scan at +19% on the volume profile. Deutsche Telekom carries the deepest record in this scan at +.14R over 168 resolved signals and sits fractionally outside its own deviation filter. Both are scored inside a book that reads FULL RISK-OFF with a −2 macro bonus. The number that decides the US side sits on the Nasdaq anchor.

Treasury Steps On The Long End

The Treasury said Wednesday it will at least double its long-dated buyback operations, from $2 billion to $4 billion per operation across the 10-to-20 and 20-to-30 year buckets, running September 9 through November 4. The 30-year yield fell to 5.187% from Tuesday's 5.34%, which was the highest print since 2007. This is not a policy move. It is direct intervention in the term premium, and it is the reason the bond-equity correlation on this terminal has rolled from stress into stress recovery.

Liquidity and risk are on, equities are off, and a zero macro bonus means no long on this board gets a tailwind before its own setup is scored, which is why three of the four US indices sit outside their deviation filters and every full-size entry in the scan is a single name. The structural caveat is that this capture does not return one regime. The 24-hour index and metals feeds read LATE CYCLE at +6/10.5 with the bonus at zero and correlation at 0.39. The US cash names read STRESS RECOVERY (NEUTRAL) at +2/10.5 with the bonus at +1, the leader flipped to liquidity and transition improving. The two XETR names read FULL RISK-OFF at −1/10.5 with the bonus at −2 and correlation at 0.47. The German book is the most defensive read the terminal produces this morning, and it holds the two tightest coils in the scan.

Breadth · Four Bullish Indices, A Negative Thrust

The strip runs today because all four US indices print bullish bias and the breadth trend behind them reads −2 on both universes the terminal scores.

If you watch one: Porsche. It holds the only 100% coil in the scan, the highest confirmation count on any long here at 8 across three timeframes, and the only buy-dominant volume profile on either German name. Deutsche Telekom has the deeper record by a factor of six in sample size and it is sitting fractionally outside its own filter, which means it cannot be entered this morning without a pullback. A loaded spring with an open gate beats a proven edge behind a shut one.

Legend

Dev · percentage distance from the institutional VWAP anchor, the volume-weighted price institutions actually paid. Dev Filter · PASS means price is close enough to that anchor that the entry is priced well and the reading adds a confluence factor; OPEN means inside the band but the anchor cross has not registered yet, which the terminal marks as next cross qualifies; FAIL means too extended for a clean new entry. Reset zone · the price at which a failed filter comes back inside its band and a new entry qualifies again.  Conf (XF) · institutional confidence score confirmed across X timeframes. Higher is better, and more timeframes is better at the same score. Signal Tier · the terminal only prints a tier when a setup has fully qualified; most sessions print none.  COILED / Building / Expanded % · volatility compression. COILED is maximum, Building is partial, Expanded means no coil is loaded. Higher means a larger expected move when it releases. None of them state direction, and none of them override the deviation filter. COILED SPRING · the terminal's named setup for a coil at the top of its range with the gate still open.  Conv / Convergence · independent institutional anchors stacked in the same zone, reported as a strength percentage. ACTIVE means a real cluster of cost basis is sitting there now; Diverged means no cluster, and the percentage is how far apart they are.  Expectancy (R) · average result per signal in units of risk, where a stop is always exactly −1.00R, published with the resolved-signal count. The record is computed over the same history the parameters were chosen on, so treat it as in-sample rather than as forward performance. Nothing is published as a percentage below 20 resolved signals, and a record still building its sample is published as a raw count with no rate attached.  Fit · the trend and chop filter. GREEN means full size, AMBER halves the position, RED means no new entries whatever the setup looks like. The cushion is how far the light sits from flipping, and whether it is improving, holding or fading. UNPROVEN means the filter has not yet resolved enough signals on that instrument to state a light.  Anchor Hold · how many bars the anchor holds per side before flipping, with the crossing count. TRENDING means it carries a swing; CHOPPY means it does not hold long enough to carry the position it would open.  Snapback (SD2L) · the oversold reversal signal fired two standard deviations below the anchor. ACTIVE means it is live now, and the frame count is how many timeframes carry it.  VP Delta · net buy or sell dominance in the volume profile at the point of control. Buy dominant above +15%, sell dominant below −15%, neutral between.  Swing Type · the multi-bar structural direction. It can disagree with the intraday bias, and when it does the trade is being taken against the larger trend and is sized down.  Composite · the sum of the active Cantillon layers on the v14 scale, maximum +10.5. Macro bonus · the regime's tailwind or headwind applied to every trade before the setup is scored. Bd-Eq Corr · 60-bar rolling correlation of bond and equity returns; above 0.35 the two are treated as one risk and bonds stop hedging equities.  Cantillon Flow · the cross-asset state. LATE CYCLE means liquidity and risk hold up while the equity layer has already rolled off. STRESS RECOVERY means the bond-equity correlation is coming back down from a stress reading without the layers having re-engaged. FULL RISK-OFF means none of the three layers is on.  Tiers · High-Volatility strict, Mid-Range (+5pp band), Equity Daily (+10pp band). The tier sets the base position size before any other adjustment.

Readings captured Thursday 20 August 2026 between 06:54 and 07:47 CEST from the IVT v14 terminal. Twenty instruments were scanned. Timeframes are 4-hour throughout on bars that had not closed, which is the specific reason every row in this brief triggers on a close rather than on a touch. The capture window does not return one regime, and the split is reported in full in the regime section rather than reconciled: the 24-hour index and metals feeds return LATE CYCLE at +6/10.5 with a zero macro bonus and correlation 0.39, the US cash names return STRESS RECOVERY (NEUTRAL) at +2/10.5 with the bonus at +1 and correlation 0.37, and the XETR names return FULL RISK-OFF at −1/10.5 with the bonus at −2 and correlation 0.47. The regime bar reports the index pass because those instruments trade live through the whole capture window. VIX reads 15 on the index feeds and 16 on the single-name pass. Index readings come from cash CFD feeds, each from a different broker, and will differ from your own cash index or futures contract, so convert and re-check every index level before acting. Porsche and Deutsche Telekom are quoted in euros on XETR and their levels do not translate to any US listing or ADR. Institutional anchor prices, band edges and reset zones are derived from the terminal's deviation percentage rather than read directly, and are approximate to the nearest cent or index point. Expectancy figures are reported exactly as the terminal prints them with the resolved-signal count published next to every one; the smallest sample carrying a published figure is 21 and the largest is 287. Two instruments in this scan report an unproven record still building its sample, and for those only the raw count is published and no rate is inferred. Several names show intraday bias disagreeing with the underlying multi-bar swing structure and are flagged individually; verify the higher-timeframe trend on your own screen before acting on any level here. One name on the watch list reports earnings before the US open today and no level in this brief is intended to survive that print.
