One Entry Is Open Out Of Fifteen. The Rest Are Waiting Or Shut.

Two names are worth shorting this morning and one is worth buying. Ouster is the only stock in the scan whose entry has already qualified, and it carries the strongest per-signal record on the page. BCE is trading at exactly the price institutions paid, zero deviation, with the highest confirmation reading here. The Russell's entry window shut over the weekend, and the Nasdaq anchor has not moved in three sessions.

Market Update
Iran, Economic D-Day

The Treasury Secretary holds a press conference today to set out how Washington intends to cut Iran out of the world economy. The named targets are oil exports, banks, and the foreign trade networks that move both. He has also said the US is unlikely to restart large-scale combat, which puts this story in the energy and financial plumbing column rather than the war column. That distinction matters for how it prices. A sanctions programme aimed at export routes and correspondent banking is a slow squeeze on supply and on the dollar system, not a headline spike and a fade.

The score has fallen from +5 of 10.5 on Friday to +2, and the whole three-point drop came out of the macro leg. Risk appetite is still the only one of three legs switched on. Nothing on this page earns extra size for being on the right side of the regime, and four of the six positions below are sized at half or less because of it. Bonds and stocks are still moving together at 0.39, which is the number that has to fall before a long book gets easier to hold.

Three Markets, Three Readings

All three books score the same +2 of 10.5 and disagree about everything underneath it. Different clocks, not a contradiction. It is why Toyota is scored against the stock book and the Dow is not.

BookReadingWhat it means this morning
US single namesSpeculative · macro −1 · VIX 16The weakest of the three and the only one whose transition reads deteriorating. Fear is neutral here, not low. Every green trend light in this brief sits inside this book.
US indicesSpeculative · macro 0 · VIX 15One point better on the macro leg, fear reads low, and the transition is stable. Three of the four index windows are shut anyway.
Cross-asset legsBonds off · stocks off · risk onOne leg of three carries the entire reading, and the correlation between the first two is still 0.39 to 0.41. The bond leg is the one Friday's Jackson Hole keynote speaks to.
Participation

Seven stocks in ten hold their 200-day line and fewer than six in ten hold their 50-day. The indices have breadth behind them and the stock list does not. Short-term momentum reads +20.5 under the index book and −17.3 under the single-name book, which is the same divergence the regime table shows one section up, measured a different way. That gap is the argument for keeping the two long positions at half size.

The Board · Everything You Can Size

Six names out of fifteen carry a size this morning. One of the six has an entry that is already qualified. The other nine are in the table further down, and two of those have deeper samples than anything on this list.

1OUST
Ouster
Short 🔒 Members The only entry in the whole scan that has already printed inside its window. Friday it was waiting. This morning the cross is behind it and the confirmation has widened from two timeframes to three. Entry qualified, the only one · record +.59R on 53 signals, the best here · light GREEN, fading · confirmation 6 across 3 timeframes · cost lines converged at 94% Full
2BCE
BCE Inc
Short 🔒 Members Price is on the cost line to the hundredth of a percent. Zero. The deepest sample on this list sits behind it and the trend light carries the widest cushion in the scan. Distance from cost 0.00% · record +.16R on 144 signals · light GREEN, 17.3-point cushion · confirmation 7 across 3 timeframes, the highest here · 19 crossings of its own cost line Half
3TM
Toyota Motor
Long 🔒 Members The only long here with stored pressure behind it, a green light in front of it and a record worth reading. The multi-week structure is still bearish, so this is a counter-trend buy into a coil. Coiled at 66% · record +.15R on 118 signals · light GREEN, holding, 10.1-point cushion · confirmation 6 across 2 timeframes · sellers dominant −17% at the most-traded price Half
4UBER
Uber Technologies
Short 🔒 Members Still has not crossed its own cost line once in 250 bars, which is the same thing it had not done on Friday. Best structure on the page, and the entry factor is not earned until the cross prints. Zero anchor crossings in 250 bars · record +.13R on 38 signals · light GREEN, 15.5-point cushion, improving · compression building at 76% · confirmation 6 across 1 timeframe Full on the trigger

Long 🔒 Members A green light and a positive record on 120 signals, attached to a confirmation score of zero and sellers running the most-traded price. The number says buy and the tape underneath it does not agree. Record +.17R on 120 signals · light GREEN, fading · confirmation 0 across 1 timeframe · sellers dominant −22% at the most-traded price · range expanded at 50% Quarter
6ALAB
Astera Labs
Long 🔒 Members Best convergence of any long here and it gapped down overnight to $277.97 before recovering. Six finished signals is the whole history. Six is not evidence, and it was not evidence on Friday either. Cost lines converged at 91% · confirmation 5 across 2 timeframes · trending, 41.7 bars per side, 5 crossings · 6 of the 20 signals needed before any rate is published Paper
If you watch one: Ouster. BCE has the better confirmation reading and four times the sample, but it flips across its own cost line nineteen times over that history, and you have to pay for that with size. Ouster is the only position on this page that does not need a trigger first, because the trigger already fired.
The One Number
Nasdaq 100 · what everything else on this page keys off
29,265

Same number as Friday. Same number as Thursday. The price institutions paid on the Nasdaq has not moved in three sessions while the index has walked from 20 points under it to 99 points under it. What has changed is the evidence: the entry window read qualified on Friday with confirmation 8 across three timeframes, and this morning it reads merely open, with confirmation down to 6 across two. Compression is the highest on the page at 89%. The trend light is red on a 0.2-point cushion and the record is exactly .00R over 181 finished signals, so this is not a trade at any price. It is the level the rest of the page is measured against. Reclaim 29,265 and the red lights start turning one at a time. Lose the floor of the window at 28,680 and the two American longs below never get their chance.

What The Words Mean

Cost line (the anchor) · the volume-weighted price large money actually paid over the current swing. Everything in this brief is measured as distance from it. Buy near it and you are paying what they paid. Buy far above it and you are paying their profit.  Entry window · how far from the cost line a new entry can still be sensibly priced. Open means you are inside it and waiting on the cross. Qualified means the cross has already printed inside it. Shut means the move has run and you wait for a pullback. The trigger in every row above is a four-hour close through the far edge of that window, in the trade's direction.  Compression · how tightly the range has wound, from 0 to 100%. High means the next move should be a big one. It says nothing about direction, and it never overrides a shut window or a red light.  Confirmation · how many independent readings agree, and across how many timeframes. Higher on both counts is better. Two timeframes at 6 beats one timeframe at 8.  Record · the average result per signal in units of risk, where being stopped out is exactly −1.00. Always published with the number of finished signals behind it, and never published at all below 20 of them. Read it as a description of the past, not a forecast.  Trend light · green means full size, amber means half, red means no new entry however good the chart looks. The cushion is how close the light is to changing.

Readings captured Monday 24 August 2026, 07:40–07:58 CEST, from the IVT v14 terminal, on four-hour bars that had not yet closed. That is why every trigger here is a close and not a touch.

Records are in-sample, calculated over the same history the settings were chosen on, so they describe the past and forecast nothing. Index levels come from cash CFD feeds and will differ from your own index or futures contract. Entry prices and window edges are derived from the percentage distances the terminal publishes, so treat them as accurate to the nearest cent or index point. No level here is meant to survive an earnings gap.

Charts are unmodified terminal captures provided for reference, not as entry instructions. Educational content only. Not financial advice. Past results do not predict future ones.
