The Scan Slept On Its Cost Lines.

Overnight, nine of the fifteen stocks on the scan traded within 2% of the price large money paid. Constellation Energy closed above its line after the Google deal and slipped under it in the night, so it waits for the open. Copper carries the most agreement on the scan and is wound 95%. Carpenter is the cleanest short, fully coiled, but only on a bounce. No green light this morning. Copper's cost line at 6.527 is the number.

BuyCopper long, half size, on a dip. The range is wound tight and tilted up, just above the price large money paid.
SellCarpenter short, half size, on a bounce. Fully coiled under its cost line, but price sits at the floor of its window, so the entry is higher up.
BuyCF Industries long, half size. On its cost line for a second day, and the overnight print matches the close within a cent.
WaitConstellation Energy. Closed over its cost line, traded under it overnight. The first four-hour close after the open decides.
SkipChasing the indices. The S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 are past their windows, and the Russell gave its breakout back overnight.
Market Update
Google Signs For Nuclear

Constellation Energy jumped more than 13% after a 20-year power deal with Google worth $4.3 billion. Hyperscalers locking in nuclear supply for two decades is the long-dated bid behind the whole power trade. The stock is on today's scan. The deal is in the price now, and the overnight session already tested how much of it holds.

Stocks and risk on, bonds off, for a fourth session, and strength unchanged at +4 of 10.5 on every chart. The one thing that moved: bonds and stocks loosened to 0.41 on the index charts and 0.52 on single stocks, from 0.54 to 0.58. That is still above the 0.35 line where the terminal treats them as one trade. A Treasury hedge still covers little.

The index panel turned to Confirming, +3 of 8, from Neutral +1, and the divergence flag cleared for the first time this run. 29.5% of stocks sit above their 50-day average, up from 26.8%, and 46.8% above their 200-day, up from 43.5%. Our own watchlist reads stronger: advancers beat decliners 1.74 to 1 and 63.5% of names sit above their 50-day. But the single-stock panel still reads Neutral, −1, with its divergence flag on. Better. Not yet broad.

The Overnight Session · Everything Sat On The Line

Fifteen stocks on this scan printed overnight. Nine traded within 2% of the price large money paid, and five within 1%: Trimble, Disney, CF Industries, MercadoLibre and Constellation. A scan that sits on its cost lines hours before the open is a scan where the open picks the side. Overnight volume is thin. A print through the line is a question, and the first four-hour close of the regular session is the answer.

Only one name changed sides. Constellation closed above its line after the Google deal and traded under it in the night, so it waits for that close. Every other Board name printed on the same side it closed on, and trades as written. Two drifted. Dollar General went lower, away from its short entry, and Hims went lower, toward a better long price. The overnight price next to every name is in the members' half.

If you watch one, watch copper. Its record covers 137 finished signals, the deepest on the scan, and the cost line under it has been crossed only four times in 50 bars a side. Carpenter is the tighter coil but needs a bounce first. RBC, yesterday's only green light, was not captured this morning and is not re-rated here.

Copper · The Cost Line
6.527

December copper trades at 6.630 overnight, 1.58% over the price large money paid, inside an entry window that tops out at 6.657. A four-hour close under 6.527 takes copper off the Board. Above 6.657 it has run past a fair price, and the trade becomes a wait for the next pullback.

You can check this against the tape yourself, which is why it sits on the free side of the gate. The buy band and the exit do not.

What The Words Mean

Cost line (the anchor) · the volume-weighted price large money actually paid over the current swing. Everything in this brief is measured as distance from it. Buy near it and you are paying what they paid. Buy far above it and you are paying their profit.  Entry window · how far from the cost line a new entry can still be sensibly priced. Inside it, the entry is fairly priced. Past it, the move has already run and you wait for a pullback.  Compression · how tightly the range has wound, from 0 to 100%. High means the next move should be a big one. It says nothing about direction, and it never overrides a shut window.  Confirmation · how many independent readings agree, and across how many timeframes. Higher on both counts is better.  Record · the average result per signal in units of risk, where being stopped out is exactly −1.00. Always published with the number of finished signals behind it, and measured over the same history the settings were chosen on. Below 20 finished signals no rate is published. A short record is not a verdict on the chart, only on what can be measured yet.  Trend light · green means full size, amber means half, red means no new entry however good the chart looks. A chart with no light yet, because its record is still being built, is sized at half. The cushion is how close the light is to changing.

Readings captured Wednesday 7 October 2026 from the IVT v14.4 terminal on four-hour bars that had not yet closed, between 09:19 and 09:43 CEST during the overnight session. US exchanges open at 15:30 CEST. Cost lines and window edges are derived from the terminal's published percentage distances. Index levels come from CFD feeds and will differ from your futures contract. Copper is the December COMEX contract. Trendline levels are read off the chart and are approximate. RBC was not captured this session.

Records are in-sample and forecast nothing. No rate is published on fewer than twenty finished signals, and the sample size is printed beside every one. Earnings dates sit inside the coming weeks for several names on this scan. Check before holding through one.
