Three stocks pass the bar for a smaller position this morning: EnerSys, Disney and Carpenter Technology. Nothing clears the bar for full size. Editas Medicine has the best-looking chart in the whole scan and it has already run past the point where it is still a clean buy. Watch the Dow: it is wound tighter than anything else captured this morning, sitting at 51,942, just under its 52,488 pivot.
| Buy | None, full size. Nothing on today's board clears the bar. |
| Half | ENS long, CRS long, DIS short, half size each. The only three the framework will let you size at all this morning. |
| Wait | EDIT and RXRX. The best chart on the page (EDIT) has run past its own ceiling. RXRX is bullish but too thin a sample to trust yet. |
| Avoid | TM. Armed and bearish, but red-lit with the thinnest cushion on the whole board. |
| Skip | SP500 and NAS100. Both ran too far above cost to chase this morning. The number to watch is below, and it is free. |
Saudi Arabia has restarted its East-West Pipeline and resumed loadings at Yanbu port after the September 13 drone attacks, and flows through the Strait of Hormuz are already back near 2.9 million barrels a day, up from roughly 700,000 in August. Crude extended its slide into this week on hopes of a breakthrough in US-Iran talks on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, though Trump has said a full peace deal likely waits until after November's midterms. The supply story is healing faster than the diplomatic one.
Two legs of three are on. Equities and risk are both confirmed bullish, bonds are not, and that gap is exactly what "inflationary pump" means: the rally is real but the base under it is unfunded. Strength reads +7 of 10.5, fear stays low at 15, and that combination is precisely why the big-cap indices below already ran too far to chase. The structural caveat is the bond-equity correlation at 0.72, deep in stress-recovery territory, so every position on this board is sized on its own record and gets no cover from a bond hedge.
This morning's capture does not return one picture. It returns three, and the gap between them is the most decision-relevant thing on the page before you even reach the board.
| Book | Reading | What it means this morning |
|---|---|---|
| Large-cap indices SP500, NAS100 | Bullish, 3–5% above cost | Already ran too far to chase. Wait for a pullback toward the line. |
| Small caps Russell 2000 | Bearish, oversold snapback live | Rolling over hard, but a mean-reversion signal is already flagged underneath it. Do not assume the drop just continues. |
| Industrials Dow | Bearish, coiled tight | The most compressed reading anywhere in today's scan. See The One Number below. |
Yesterday's close told a different story: the Russell led the tape at +0.68% while the Dow lagged. This morning's terminal reads the opposite on both. Overnight positioning has moved faster than the cash close suggests, which is why the free number below is on the Dow and not the S&P.
Our own 74-name coverage universe closed Tuesday healthy: 67.6% of names above their 50-day, McClellan at +7.1, advance/decline net +26. The terminal's own wider breadth panel, read from this morning's captures, is a different picture: only 29.8% above the 50-day, a divergence flag active, and a McClellan reading that has flipped sign since Tuesday's close. The gap lines up with what the Dow and the Russell are already flagging above: the rally has been narrower under the surface than the index headline shows.

The Dow is compressed to 93%, the tightest reading anywhere in this morning's scan, sitting at 51,942, 1.04% below its own cost line of 52,488. That is still inside its current 2% band, whose floor sits near 51,438. Nothing is confirmed yet in either direction. What matters is that the Dow has wound tighter than every other capture this morning, including every name on the board above, and a move out of that coil should be the largest percentage move in today's scan when it comes.
You can check this one against the tape yourself, which is why it sits on the free side of the gate. The six entry levels on the Board do not.

Every Friday the complete brief ships open, with all levels, every execution block and all terminal captures, and no gate anywhere on the page.
Cost line (the anchor) · the volume-weighted price large money actually paid over the current swing. Everything in this brief is measured as distance from it. Buy near it and you are paying what they paid. Buy far above it and you are paying their profit. Entry band · how far from the cost line a new entry can still be sensibly priced. Inside it, the entry is fairly priced. Past it, the move has already run and you wait for a pullback. Compression · how tightly the range has wound, from 0 to 100%. High means the next move should be a big one. It says nothing about direction, and it never overrides a shut entry band. Confirmation · how many independent readings agree, and across how many timeframes. Higher on both counts is better. Two timeframes at 6 beats one timeframe at 8. Record · the average result per signal in units of risk, where being stopped out is exactly −1.00. Always published with the number of finished signals behind it. It is measured over the same history the settings were chosen on, so read it as a description of the past and not a forecast. Below 20 finished signals no rate is published at all. Trend light · green means full size, amber means half, red means no new entry however good the chart looks. The cushion is how close the light is to changing.
Readings captured Wednesday 23 September 2026 between 08:48 and 08:53 CEST, from the IVT v14.4 terminal, on four-hour bars that had not yet closed. US exchanges open at 15:30 CEST, so every US-listed chart here shows Tuesday 22 September's last completed four-hour bar plus a pre-market print, and no trigger on those charts can fire before the open.
All twelve captures this morning return the same regime block: inflationary pump, strength +7 of 10.5, bonds off, equities on, risk on, macro tailwind +2, fear low at 15, leader tied, bond-equity correlation 0.72, stress recovery. Cost lines and band edges are derived from the percentage distances the terminal publishes rather than read off it directly, so treat them as accurate to the nearest cent or index point. Index levels come from cash CFD feeds and will differ from your own index or futures contract. Editas Medicine's own dev filter reads FAIL well past this brief's 3% instrument ceiling; the entry band above is computed the same way for every name on the page.
Records are in-sample and forecast nothing. No rate is published on fewer than twenty finished signals, and the sample size is printed beside every one. Bank of America and Bunge are held out of the board entirely because the bias header and the framework's own directional cross disagree; publishing a side under those conditions would be a guess dressed as a signal.
