One Green Light In 26 Charts. It Points Down.

Qualcomm is the only chart this morning with a green light, and it is a short at full size. Dollar General and EnerSys add two coiled shorts at half size. The S&P 500 slipped back inside its entry window overnight, and its light is still red.

SellQCOM short, full size. The only green light in the scan, and the only record whose whole range sits above zero.
HalfDG and ENS shorts, half size. Both coiled above 95% right on their cost lines. Both amber.
HalfDIS and NATGAS longs, half size. Amber, inside their windows, and the only two long ideas worth the risk.
WaitSP500. Back inside its window, which is what Monday's free number asked for. The light stayed red. Its cost line is below, and it is free.
AvoidHIMS. Confirmation 10 and a short signal on the tape, with 11 of the 20 finished signals it needs. Nineteen other charts are red-lit.
Market Update
Bonds Set The Price

Stocks followed Treasuries lower on Monday after Washington turned down Tehran's offer to reopen the Strait of Hormuz under a seven-day ceasefire. The 10-year closed at 5.24%, its highest since 2007, and the 30-year at 5.56%, the highest since 2004. The S&P 500 lost 0.77% to 7,683.69 and the Nasdaq 0.92%, with talks now pushed to later this week.

Same shape as Monday: stocks and risk on, bonds off, a rally paying 2007 borrowing costs. Strength holds at +6 of 10.5 on the single-stock captures. The index captures taken minutes later read +4 with the trend marked deteriorating, and bonds and stocks move together at 0.63 there, so a bond hedge covers nothing.

The terminal's breadth panel reads Diverging. Only 24.5% of stocks sit above their 50-day average and 43.9% above their 200-day, and the McClellan oscillator is negative on every capture, −17.1 at its lowest. The cycle state still counts stocks as joining the rally. Three stocks in four are below their 50-day. That gap is why the one clean trade this morning is a short.

The One Number · Free
S&P 500 · The Cost Line
7,548

Monday's free number was 7,696, the edge of the S&P's entry window. The cash index reads 7,677 this morning, inside it, 1.71% above a cost line of 7,548. The window opened. The light did not: red, 12.2 points from turning, with a record of −.12R over 26 signals. Compression is building at 91%. A 4-hour close under 7,548 turns the bias bearish. Until then there is no long and no short on the index.

You can check this one against the tape yourself, which is why it sits on the free side of the gate. The Qualcomm levels do not.

What The Words Mean

Cost line (the anchor) · the volume-weighted price large money actually paid over the current swing. Everything in this brief is measured as distance from it. Buy near it and you are paying what they paid. Buy far above it and you are paying their profit.  Entry band · how far from the cost line a new entry can still be sensibly priced. Inside it, the entry is fairly priced. Past it, the move has already run and you wait for a pullback.  Compression · how tightly the range has wound, from 0 to 100%. High means the next move should be a big one. It says nothing about direction, and it never overrides a shut entry band.  Confirmation · how many independent readings agree, and across how many timeframes. Higher on both counts is better. Two timeframes at 6 beats one timeframe at 8.  Record · the average result per signal in units of risk, where being stopped out is exactly −1.00. Always published with the number of finished signals behind it. It is measured over the same history the settings were chosen on, so read it as a description of the past and not a forecast. Below 20 finished signals no rate is published at all.  Trend light · green means full size, amber means half, red means no new entry however good the chart looks. The cushion is how close the light is to changing.

Readings captured Tuesday 29 September 2026 between 06:51 and 07:07 CEST from the IVT v14.4 terminal, on four-hour bars that had not yet closed. US exchanges open at 15:30 CEST, so no trigger on a US-listed chart can fire before then. Cost lines and window edges are derived from the terminal's published percentage distances, and exits are read off the chart to the nearest ten cents. Index and commodity levels come from CFD feeds and will differ from your futures contract. EnerSys shows an earnings marker ahead on its chart: confirm the date before holding through it.

Records are in-sample and forecast nothing. No rate is published on fewer than twenty finished signals, and the sample size is printed beside every one.

Charts are unmodified terminal captures provided for reference, not as entry instructions. Educational content only. Not financial advice. Past results do not predict future ones.
